The girls in their matchy match Easter dresses wait with Jack, Lars, Leif and Gabby for the pre-hunt briefing.
I know it doesn't look too appealing this photo, but the grass is now lush and green and the trees are days away from budding.
It was warm for Easter, about 45 degrees (which feels balmy to us after such a long winter.)

After the best sermon I have ever heard in my entire life, we had thirty folks over for Easter dinner. It was a yummy potluck with ham, scalloped potatoes, butter spiral rolls, spinach salad, herbed potato salad, coconut milk sweet potatoes with curried cashews, homemade cheddar crackers, chips and homemade salsa, lemon merienge pie, mint brownies, peanut butter birds nests, cheesecake and some really bad punch. Dolores arranged a couple of hundred eggs to be hidden and we turned the kids loose on the lawn for a great hunt.
